How long does it take to move a machine?

There can be no set answer to this question as all moves and machines are unique to each client. A good generalisation for moving a 6metre shuttle within a factory with good access is approximately 4 days.

What happens once an order is placed?

Kardex will process the order and appoint a dedicated Project Manager to make contact with the customer and take them through each step of the move process. This includes all their health and safety requirements of a bespoke Risk Analysis and Method Statement.

Can we move contents as well as machines?

Yes Kardex can provide a full ‘Turn Key’ operation for moving both machine and contents

Do you use Kardex engineers to move the machinery?

Yes we use only factory trained engineers.

Can you move machines from country to country?

Yes. Because Kardex is a global corporation we are able to utilise the expertise and resources of all our sister companies to import and export Kardex machines.

Can you move machines outside of normal working hours?

Yes. Much of our work is done in the evenings and at weekends in order to minimise the disruption to a business.
